WSBK 2012: new team, new bike, new challenge

I am very excited about the new challenge I have taken for the 2012 season, having just signed with Team Grillini BMW.
My first year in WSBK was an important learning year and stepping stone to what I hope will be a successful campaign this year.
Team Grillini was a very attractive option for me as they are a small group of very ambitious people who want to strive to be at the top in World Superbikes, and who want to work as a team. This point was critical to my decision. We know that the developement of the BMW will take time considering we are so close to the start of the season, but with the plan the team have created, I know we can reach the results we want.
Now I can look forward to focusing on my training, then taking part in some up and coming tests in preparation for the first round in Australia.
